BRITISH CYCLING SOUTH EAST REGION YOUTH AND JUNIOR TEAM For several years John Barclay and Ian Whitehead have been taking youth and junior riders to race on the continent. Some of these young riders have moved on to become successful senior riders. Most of the races are in Belgium and the trips are held normally on one day or over a weekend. On occasions there are invites to inter-club races. The racing is generally harder than in the UK and there are bigger fields.
