Accessories and "Finishing kit". The "Finishing kit" comprise the items on top a groupset required to finish off a bicycle, namely; Bars and stem, bar tape, seat-pin, saddle Added to that are accessory items that are taken along for the ride. These should include; tools (in the form of allen keys), pump, spare tubes and puncture outfit. Also useful would be, small piece of rag and some disposable latex/vinyl gloves to prevent the hands getting soiled. A rain jacket can be carried, folded-up, under the saddle or in the back pocket of the jersey.

Bars and stem. We stock handlebars and
stems from ITM, Deda, Cinelli, Profile and 3TTT. Saddles by Selle Italia and San Marco Bidons (Water bottle) and bottle cages. We have our own specially monogrammed water bottles, half litre capacity. Pumps. An absolute necessity. The most popular are the mini-pumps, lightweight and easy to fit.

Saddles are a very personal choice. All major manufacturers have a special line for the ladies. Chains Modern chains are very narrow, allowing them to cater for up to 10 speeds. Regular cleaning is essential to get the most mileage from them. It is recommended a 10-speed chain is replaced after 2500 miles. A badly worn chain will damage chain-rings and sprockets These can be very expensive to replace. |
